America. It's over - I'm back in Germany
In the last blog entry I described our trip to Niagara Falls. He was simply fantastic. But the next day everything was immediately forgotten. My host mother told me in the face that I must go. I would like to explain the reasons here not closer because then I would always be upset again, because I found those reasons just irrelevant! The Americans have just a different way of thinking. So loose it sometimes may be, ... so stubborn and throbbing in her opinion they are the same.

What then? I must see her again, I do not want to be alone. It was all so beautiful.
The farewell would come either way, unfortunately, it came earlier than intended.

Maribor Open 2009 21st
On 5 December 2009, we danced at the 11th Ma Ribor Open our last tournament for this year. The whole tournament was very organized. The event hall - Sports Hall Tabor -. Was huge and the area was perfect (both the size and the nature has also been the schedule - at least what we were concerned -. Adhered to, we also had sufficient time to area to get to know us and einzutanzen it.
The IDSF Sen tournament I began by 15 clock and we were 25 start couples who danced the 1st round in 3 heats. We felt and quite well and reached the second Round of the 20 best . Fascinating was that, immediately after the last Quick Steps in the 1 Round to see on the monitor outside the hall immediately the results were.
The 2nd Round has been danced in 2 heats of 10 pairs and was immediately after the 1st Round (with a 1 / 4 hour break in between) held. We enjoyed this 2nd Round, after all, we had nothing to lose. After the wonderful weekend we went to Washington Tuesday again everyday life. Work. I spent about 2 hours in various shops. Just to get to leather for a school project of my younger child guest. He tinkers a Viking - sign.

Have dinner then watched TV together.

My host family does not need me, so I could leave a day before the house in the morning. Quick suitcase packed (. With the new outfits, who will be required eventually the world will be presented)
at 5:16 clock in the morning I leave the house, make my way to the station.
I enter the station and all the lights go out. Cooool.
Then meet me 3 sinister characters. Truck driver I think. See at least like it. They also had a very interesting way of speaking. The F-word was used very often. One even managed in one of his sentences, the F-word 8x to accommodate. RECORD!

Sunday morning we packed Just a few things from the breakfast buffet in a bag. Breakfast on the bus. On the way back, many films were shown. I have "Little Man" seen. The others I either slept or played it with my I-Touch ^ ^
Transformers I've seen the beginning, as in "Bethlehem" plays. Pretty wicked. I was even in the place where it was filmed. I globetrotter.
This weekend we have spent almost entirely in the bus. But we have seen so much + experience. It has really paid off. Expensive was not the fun. And we have always (no matter what we do) is always fun together.

Last weekend We came for the first time at the AOC (Austrian Open Championships) to in Wiener Stadthalle . The tournament was well organized and it was our great pleasure to dance with Austria's biggest sporting event as an active dancer to be there.
in the tournament - I Standard IDSF SEN - occurred in 63 couples from many nations. The first round began at 10:50 with 5 heats, we were always drawn in the Heat 3rd We could not use the opportunity of warming up on Thursday and we had some problems in the first round with the ground and with the size of the area. The ground was through the Latin dancers, before us on the plane were very good grip and the area was compared with the tournaments in Bratislava Kistelek and uncommonly large and we could not adjust our program to the surface size really.
All in all we got from the judges 17 brands and that's not enough that we identify directly into the 2nd Round rose. So we had in the repechage (thimble). Now we were set much better and the judges rewarded. We received 35 marks and were among the eight pairs (of 23), the rise in the second Round - and among the top 48 pairs - surpassed.
This round, we were able to enjoy genuine, we were by our friends of our club tsc active - Doris and Wolfgang Richter and Barbara Deyerl - violently cheered, and it was great fun. But the competition was very crazy and we were able to enter only 2 Marks. We finally reached the 41st Place were so in the field of our direct competitors and could be quite satisfied with the results our first entry into employment. The first round began at 10:50 with 5 heats, we were always drawn in the Heat 3rd We could not use the opportunity of warming up on Thursday and we had some problems in the first round with the ground and with the size of the area. But the competition was very crazy and we were able to enter only 2 Marks. On Saturday, 14 November 2009 we were at the club tournament of the TSC Savoy München, as in the previous year. The club is sensational beautiful, but corresponded to the dance floor (with 16 x 13) is not the specified dimensions (21 x 14). This also led to a protest by some dancing couples.
in our class were 8 couples at the start and it became a held preliminary heats in 2 (of 4 pairs). We felt pretty good, and reached the finals with 23 Marks sovereign.

The week before my birthday.
Was very stressful. to do much differently than expected. 've Helped a lot in the household + bought (every day in 3-4 shops) are preferred because my host mom a variety of products from certain transactions + also failed boil. than 5 minutes, then was at home, and hey presto you go even farther. From the car + the next "task". This is fun + the day goes around. Thus will not be bored. In the week were also friends of the family visit. I was long on, I had to look after the children (last of the "big ones" have eaten. Had the day eaten hardly anything, just an apple with peanut butter. I know not, but I like the taste here ^ ^ In Germany never eaten and here I became Peanutbutter fan!
Am 24.10. we went by train to New York. The week before my birthday.

Last weekend, we danced another IDSF Sen I tournament, this time under the " Donaucup" again in Bratislava . We are really happy that there are a lot of us IDSF competitions within a radius of about 500 km. Dance Sports Weekend 2009 at the White court tournament in Kistelek

On 20 September, place in Kistelek (140 km south of Budapest, but all easily accessible via highway), the Eighth Kistelek Open tournament. Kistelek is "in the middle of nowhere", yet the tournament very well and worth it, that there dance competitions are held.

We traveled on the same day and took on the outward journey into a short trip to Budapest. We saw the castle, the Fishermen's Bastion and the Parliament. We had - with really great weather on the terrace of the Hotel Gellert a great lunch and then went on to Kistelek.

After a wonderful, relaxing vacation on the island of Karpathos in Greece, we began in late August, 2009 with the intensive training and prepared thoroughly for the tournament season in the fall. But first a vacation photo, hmmm it was beautiful.
On September 12, then was our next tournament at the inaugural Prague Open 2009. We have traveled to the previous day and stayed at the STEP WELLNESS HOTEL **** for EUR 17, - per person including breakfast. We have booked through http://www.hrs.de/ and so far only made good Erfarungen.
We had a really great tournament in Prague, we reached the second Round and 23 were launched from 32 pairs, results in: http://www.spaeker.de/r09/prag/1209_oc_sen1std/erg.htm . By late afternoon we then still considered the center of Prague and eaten great evening. We had a crazy good time and went home happy, after waiting for the next day, the Bratislava Open 2009 on us.

This tournament is very appreciated by many dance couples, because here several positive factors: first, were at this weekend - zumndest for Sen I Class - 2 tournaments in a row, second Schladming is located in a beautiful mountain scenery Liecht, accessible from many European countries and thirdly, organize - and successfully Manfed Ansatasia Stiglitz her Dance Sports Seminar - both before and after the tournament.
We had our 6 IDSF first tournament start and have prepared ourselves quite well on it. We felt pretty good on the first day, received 9 Marks and reached the 60th place of 74 starters - Results in http://www.nennungen.weissl.com/ergebnisse/0228/TAS_0228_WG_01.HTM .
On 2 Tournament waited a special challenge and experience for me, I would like to save me. When Slow Waltz - I was in a backward movement - I came through the leg of other dancers - this was in a lounge position and could do nothing for it - to fall. I was - as a board - to my 4 letter. My head hummed properly and I had only once chance to listen to me and feel how I feel as physically. Many dance colleagues and Elizabeth were there immediately and wanted to help me. But since I had no real pain, I took her back dancing posture and we continued to dance. That was the unpleasant part of this experience, the more beautiful and pleasant part of it came now.
Miraculously, we were suddenly of the judges also "perceived" and - apparently because we danced very well - rewarded with 19 Marks. Another great experience was that we receive from our - and the audience were angfeuert mistaken and "worn" by their applause throughout the tournament were - standing at the edge dance colleagues. I will remain here only one left, namely me to thank you very much for this great support. Thursday I had my first time I was scared. Whether it hurt? Whether I do it right? But it was nice + I enjoyed it, my first day alone in New York City. Rein in the train + 25 minutes later at Grand Central. In the middle of NYC.
