On 20 September, place in Kistelek (140 km south of Budapest, but all easily accessible via highway), the Eighth Kistelek Open tournament. Kistelek is "in the middle of nowhere", yet the tournament very well and worth it, that there dance competitions are held. We traveled on the same day and took on the outward journey into a short trip to Budapest. We saw the castle, the Fishermen's Bastion and the Parliament. We had - with really great weather on the terrace of the Hotel Gellert a great lunch and then went on to Kistelek.
were there when I Standard IDSF Sen only 10 Pairs at the start and we had so much wrong in the first round place in the area for dancing. We enjoyed this first round - and Vadim Kartin us have a little coached and cheered, thinking that we can then immediately go home. All the more surprised we were when the display panel has indicated to us NO = Next Round. We could hardly believe it - we were in the final. We now had almost 2 hours, which we use to relax and subsequent renewed warming. We danced the finale like a dream and reached the 5th Place. We are the 96th Place first in the IDSF World Ranking Sen I among the Top 100 Wow - and this common after only 3 years Turniertanzens.
