IDSF tournament Sen I standard under the Vienna Dance Concourse

On 5 April 2009, we - one day after the tournament in Brno - in the ballroom of Vienna's City Hall under the Vienna Dance Concourse 2009 our 2nd IDSF Sen. danced I tournament. Actually we should feel quite well, we have in Brno - for us - all achieved good results and also we could on Friday, 3 April dieFläche meet in practice. Yet that was the problem and reason for commanding some nervousness, because the size of the area was unfamiliar to us. So we have tried in practice in our program filling elements installed to auszutanzen this area also.

were total of 49 couples at the start. The first round was danced in 4 heats and we got out of the 9 judges scoring only 9 Marks. This means that we were not going straight into the 2nd round, but had to try our chance in the 'thimble' round. There, the judges rewarded us with 27 cord and we managed to get into the 2nd round, where we also managed to get hold 4 markers.

Overall we were 36th of 49 pairs and again we were very pleased. Dance Concourse, you see us again.

Brno open - our first IDSF Tournament

On 4 April 2009, we danced at the Brno Open 2009 our first I Standard IDSF Sen tournament in Brno. The journey from Vienna was easy and we were on time on site. The tournament was Boby center - a modern and beautiful complex of hotel, restaurant and meeting room - played, most couples were really impressed. The hall was decorated entirely in black and the dance floor (20 x 15) was bathed in bright light pleasant.

It 38 couples at the start and the first round had been held in four heats. We felt quite well and have provided for our skills pretty good performance. However, we did not make the move into the second Round. We got 19 brands (of 65 possible) - the most we got in Marks Tango (7 Marks), the fewest in the Quick Step (1 Mark). We simply could not expect more and were really pleased with the outcome.

All in all it was a successful tournament and I think we'll be back next year.
