On 4 April 2009, we danced at the Brno Open 2009 our first I Standard IDSF Sen tournament in Brno. The journey from Vienna was easy and we were on time on site. The tournament was Boby center - a modern and beautiful complex of hotel, restaurant and meeting room - played, most couples were really impressed. The hall was decorated entirely in black and the dance floor (20 x 15) was bathed in bright light pleasant. 31st Space of 38
It 38 couples at the start and the first round had been held in four heats. We felt quite well and have provided for our skills pretty good performance. However, we did not make the move into the second Round. We got 19 brands (of 65 possible) - the most we got in Marks Tango (7 Marks), the fewest in the Quick Step (1 Mark). We simply could not expect more and were really pleased with the outcome.
All in all it was a successful tournament and I think we'll be back next year.
