only 5 days after our last tournament we were in Berlin on Saturday, 18 April 2009 at the Linz Open 2009 to our 4th IDSF SEN I tournament. The tournament was the Intersport Arena, a perfectly suitable location for such large events.
We left the day before (the preliminary rounds have already started in the morning) and stayed at the Hotel Steigenberger. In our view, the hotel is not recommended, because the parking situation is completely unsatisfactory. The parking spaces along the access road are hopelessly overcrowded and the other parking spots are associated with the adjacent business, the release on Saturday that, even though they are empty all day. The offered parking garage on the other hand, in my view disproportionate prohibitively expensive (in Berlin, he was free). Also, it makes sense to have breakfast (price EUR 14, - per person) to abandon, there are wonderful bakeries in Linz, at a fraction of the cost.
54th Space of 63
Our tournament - IDSF SEN I - was truly impressive, it was the first in the world rankings at the start. The first round was dancing in 6 heats and we reached 54th of 63 pairs (results under http://www.nennungen.weissl.com/ergebnisse/0230/TAS_0230_WG_03.HTM ).
