Four Word Wise Sayings

How Essential oils enter the body

nose
Essential oils can be absorbed by the highly sensitive olfactory system.
When cells enter into the upper part of the nasal odor molecules, signals go to the brain in the limbic region, a primitive function of the brain.
This region controls the basic survival functions, in part, by influencing important glands, which affect the whole body. Therefore, a smell can quickly affect the entire body.
These activities are below the threshold of consciousness. Therefore, the most important functions that necessary for our survival are strongly influenced by smell - and we are not aware of.

you can nhalieren essential oils in different ways: some may drop into the water bath in a bowl with warm water in the vicinity, on a humidifier or a light bulb in the melted wax of a burning candle, or a handkerchief. You can also use the inexpensive oil lamps.

skin:
If they apply oil on the skin, it is absorbed through the pores and hair follicles because it can circulate in the bloodstream and spread throughout the body. Because you smell the scents, even if the oil rub on the skin, it is hard to separate fact from inhalation in synergy effects in this application.
In contrast to many chemical or physical agents and ointments, essential oils are no residues and are quickly absorbed by the body. Furthermore, essential oils are applied locally and not have to be swallowed, such as drugs that can cause side effects in the stomach and liver. Go directly to the spot (eg, sore muscles, bruising, etc.), where they are needed most.
Essential oils can be found usually only in diluted oil mixtures, such as ointments, creams or lotions, alcohol based or water- Tinctures etc.
