On 25 and 26 October, this year in the Roth francs Dance Festival ( http://www.frankendancefestival.de/ ) instead. This tournament is a 3-area tournament and comparable to the tournament in Oberpullendorf in March. About 700 pairs were reported and that was automatically mood, tension and atmosphere provided. This large amount of messages meant for the organizers a huge challenge and although it ended the first day of the tournament with almost 2 hours late, I wish to congratulate the organizers of high praise. We were already the 2nd Year in a Roth this year and it was a great experience. The area, despite being 15 x 10 m not the greatest but adequate and the parquet floor was betanzen well. started
In our class on Saturday, 15 pairs - this is one tournament to Bayern Cup . Our tournament started 2 hours late (at 22.30) and unfortunately we have left out in the preliminary round. We reached the ninth Place . Obviously, we still polarize a little, for three judges gave us 5 or 4 Marks of the other two we got 2 or 0 Marks. Total 15 Marks filed (by 1 mark) and so we were not on that day no longer there. Nevertheless, we felt comfortable and right - at least for us - was also an important factor. On Sunday at least 8 pairs were still at the starting and we felt we won again and this time we also saw the judges much better. 23 Marks meant in the first round the second-highest mark and hence the semi-finals. In the final, we matchten us with a Berlin couple to the 2nd place. The Slow Waltz won the Berlin, as well as the slow foxtrot, tango and Viennese waltz, we won. All in all, was the Frankish dance festival for us - for good Bavarian - rather mixed, we had specially-1 Days but expected more. I would like to take this opportunity especially Klaus Richterich to support us again and again with valuable tips and feedback to bring the dance best out of us and therefore has certainly contributed its part to our success on Sunday.
The positive side next to the 3rd Place on Sunday (which, incidentally, was our eighth "Stocker place" in the Sen IA) was our "program" on Sunday. We visited the large Brombachsee , a man-made lake with about 7.5 km2. After we had circled the small Brombachsee walk (about 6 km), we went with the MS Brombachsee ( http://msbrombachsee.com/ ) - a 46 m long and 19 m wide trimaran with 3 decks ) a round on the big Brombachsee. We had wonderful weather and enjoyed the time in full.
We stayed at the Frankish tradition of guesthouse " to Heidenberg " cows in the village ( http://www.hotel-gasthof-zum-heidenberg.de/ ). The rooms were quite large, the room rate per night, EUR 69, - quite OK and the attached restaurant is known as a game restaurant in the area. All in all it was a nice show weekend in Franconia.
