November 2008 - YES WE CAN - we have the Savoy senior dance competition WON

On 22 November 2008, the club-rooms of the TSC Savoy München ( http://www.savoy-muenchen.de/ ) a - instead of great dance seniors tournament and WE HAVE OUR CLASS (- from our point of view SEN IA) WON .

The location is incredibly beautiful when you enter the club room, you feel admiration and enthusiasm, but perhaps a little envy. The TSC Savoy moved a few months in the Neumarkter Route 71 and has landed it a big hit. The (515!) Members there in countless hours of work from a former post-camp a phenomenal club home created. In the 2nd (And last floor) situated at altitude of 900 m2 and about 5 m, with large windows and 3 huge dance floors (19 x 12 19 x 10 and 14 x 12), this club presented in a bright, friendly and professional atmosphere. People we congratulate you for this great club, as does the dancing pleasure.

Our tournament started at about 14.30. 8 pairs were registered, and we started with a preliminary round in 2 heats of 4 pairs. We create problems without the finals with 22 Marks. An adjudicator, we have not entirely convinced he has made only 2 Marks the others have considered but with 5 Marks.

The finals then was really exciting. We matchten with a (sympathetic and almost friendly) pair from Ingolstadt for the win and the decision was then possible margin. The Ingolstadt won the slow waltz and the tango, and were second in the Viennese Waltz, Slow Foxtrot and Quickstep. We were third in the slow waltz, 2 Tango in and won the Viennese Waltz, Slow Foxtrot and Quickstep. So had the two couples end up with a square-sum of 8 As we have won 3 dances, we also won the tournament. We were really happy because we felt really good and even after a gap in the first two dances (In Germany there is a open class) have not given up and tried to do our best. We would also like to thank the audience , it had a large share of the great atmosphere and certainly contributed to the fact that we felt so comfortable and the joy we feel when dancing, to express could bring. Incidentally, we stayed

the Motel One ( http://www.motel-one.com/ ) in Putzbrunn. It's easy, convenient and cheap (EUR 72, - per room per night) and from there you can easily and quickly to the competition venue.
